The bronze men were erected in 1979 as the final creation of the triptych, which also includes the "Motherland" in Volgograd and the "Warrior Liberator" in Berlin. Three monuments contain a sword, which symbolizes first unity, then courage and, ultimately, victory over fascism. The monument appeared on the territory of Magnitogorsk for a reason, since the contribution of the city and the entire Chelyabinsk region to the military industry was great: every second tank and every third shell were made of locally produced steel.

Monument "Steam Locomotive"

What you need to see in Magnitogorsk is a railway monument. The commemorative steam locomotive was one of the first to arrive with the train at the city station on June 30, 1929. Interestingly, this day is recognized as Magnitogorsk's birthday many years later. They decided to make a monument out of a tractor before the impending 50th anniversary of the city. The locomotive was found, restored, and an additional railway line was laid so that the transport could climb onto the pedestal. And so, at a festive rally in 1979, the locomotive independently drove onto a prepared concrete platform, blew a horn and parked forever.

Church of the Ascension of the Lord

This Magnitogorsk shrine has the status of a cathedral. It is part of a complex that includes a water chapel, a diocesan administration and a baptismal church. The idea of building the church came to the dean of the Magnitogorsk-Kartalinsky district, Archpriest Florus Bondeko.

The ingredients for this dish are collected in late May, early June, when the nettles are young. Take only the upper tender leaves of the plant. The broth can be both meat and vegetable.

The city was founded in 1743 as part of the Orenburg line of forts built during the reign of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna.
During the Pugachev Uprising in 1774, the Magnitnaya fortress was captured by rioters. Only on the second attempt did the Pugachevites manage to capture the fortress. In retaliation for the resistance, many residents of Magnitnaya were executed.
In 1865, the defensive line was disbanded, and Magnitnaya turned into a Cossack village. Tsars visited it twice: in 1837, Tsarevich Alexander Nikolaevich (the future Alexander II) visited it together with the poet V. A. Zhukovsky, and in 1891 Nicholai II visited it.
Magnitogorsk's date of birth is considered to be June 30, 1929, when the first train arrived at Magnitogorsk.
The role of the city in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 is significant: the armor of every second tank, every third shell were made of Magnitogorsk steel, smelted at the combine, the raw materials for which were taken from the Magnetic Mountain.
